Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade visits the 21st International Home Appliances Exhibition

Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki (Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade) after the opening ceremony and visiting the industrial units of the 21st International Home Appliances Exhibition said: According to the plan, the balance of the country’s home appliance industry should be positive within the next three years. Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade continued: In this regard, exports should exceed imports of components and parts. For this purpose, various meetings are being held in this ministry with the presence of associations and organizations as well as the leading units of this industry. Sadeghi Niaraki, in connection with increasing the depth of domestic manufacturing in the field of home appliances, said: “The production and export program and the domestic manufacturing depth plan and positive exchange rate balance of these units are being adopted.” The important point was the jump in production in 1999, when we had a growth of over 70% of home appliances. The Deputy Minister of Industry of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade continued: This year, the Ministry of Silence is pursuing the issue of consumer protection, quality improvement and price. Sadeghi Niaraki invited experts to visit the exhibition and said: “There is a growing path in the home appliance industry.” We hope that in addition to increasing production and the depth of domestic production, the issue of export development will be pursued in the next two years and the home appliance industry will be among the most valuable industries in the country.
